Creative and fun describes this New Year’s Eve tablescape that will have you set for jazz. The theme features a Jazz Quartet centerpiece created by talented Lego designers. The tablescape is playfully mixed with traditional colors of New Year’s Eve. Gold and silver fill the spirit with energy in anticipation of the new year bringing abundance and success.
Set for Jazz
Jazz music is one of the most significant and varied styles in the world. The elements of harmony and fast tempos, rock and funk, brass instruments and drums, blend together to create the special sound of jazz music. Artistic expression, spiritual influence and improvisation makes jazz special. From the early days of drums and dancing mixing together with the rhythms and melodies of blues and Caribbean music, the roots of jazz run deep.
The 1606-piece Lego Jazz Quartet set assembles in four parts, making it easy to build as a family or group. It is creative and fun to build, and makes a great New Year’s Eve tablescape centerpiece. Plus the instrument details are amazing.
The posture of each musician shows their artistic expression so much so, you can almost hear the music playing.
This jazz quartet set makes a great centerpiece not only for New Year’s Eve, but for Mardi Gras and birthday celebrations too. The set is a “must have” for Lego enthusiasts and collectors as it displays beautifully year-round. To really bring the set to life, add LED lights (available separately).

New Year’s Eve Tablescape
This New Year’s Eve tablescape looks good with or without a tablecloth. The dining table pictured is Italian marble which is the perfect background for any tablescape that lacks a tablecloth. However, any table color or material will look good with the right placemats. Metallic gold placements are a good choice and coordinate with almost any dinnerware color and pattern.
White plates tend to be my go-to which I use for this tablescape. Black napkins wrapped with gold rings and gold trimmed silverware complete the place setting. Each setting is courted by champagne flutes and party blowers.
The tablescape pictured above right has a black linen napkin beneath the jazz quartet to make it stand out from the checkered tablecloth.
Lastly, silver and gold beads are scattered on the table as an accompaniment to the jazz theme for this New Year’s Eve tablescape.
